감/Gam/Persimmon

Gingko leaves upclose

More Gingko. Though Gingko berries stink to high heaven when they fall onto the ground and begin to rot, the trees ARE gorgeous.

Right??

Gingko berries! They are delicious! But I hear they're harmful (and may even cause death) if you eat too many. I ate most of the ones you see in this picture and I'm fine!...well, sort of :-P

OMG Seoul is so beautiful this time of year! Does the Gingo tea, come from the roots of the beautiful tree with the berries?
Thank you for the wonderful photos!!

Hi Sarah!
I checked everyday, Finally a new post! ;)
These photos are beautiful, calming, artistic & yummy.
Photo of 감 or Persimmons is so sweet! We call it "Khormaloo". :) It's the fruit of autumn and we eat it as well. I think this fruit is the easiest fruit to eat! You want to eat its skin too!
Of course it must be completely ripe or it'll leave an unpleasant taste in mouth (=Astringent?)
Eating too much Gingko may cause death? haha Maybe those who say this want to eat all of it hemselves!! That's why! LOL
This park looks a perfect place for letting the mind go from everything.... Wish I was there.
Thanks
Hmyn
Puuuurty pics, Sarah!
thanks for the comments, everyone :)
